These pochade boxes are extremely well designed, and built! I love mine, (I have both the Bitterroot, and Bitterroot Lite). Highly recommend!
If you want to up your painting game as an artist, Ben's Alla Prima Porchade box is not only the best design I have found but is also a work of art itself. As a retired NFL football player who loves to paint, I feel like I have the best equipment to up my game as an artist. I just got back from a three-week trip to the Mammoth Mountains and loved the entire experience of painting the mountain. A quick shoutout to Andrew Tischler who turned me on the best Plein Air box in the land! Thank you Ben...
I love everything about this pochade box. When I first ordered I thought the price was a bit high, but after receiving it, I can see that it is indeed very high quality. Absolutely no reservations in recommending it, and I can’t wait to take it out into the field.
Fantastic build quality with a hand made feel. Deceptively simple design that takes the friction away from painting plein air. It just does it's job and does it well no more, no less. Highly recommended
