I've made several custom boxes and will undoubtably make more. I enjoy doing it, but keep in mind that if you're making radical changes it may cost more money. It all depends on whether you're making the pochade box simpler or more complicated, and whether the parts are going to be one of a kind or interchangeable with other boxes. I'm always playing with ideas for new boxes and improvements on the existing designs. I hope to try out some pastel box designs pretty soon, and longer term I'd like to investigate watercolor as well, which is not a medium I use.

I expect to have more time to finalize these designs since I quit my full time carpentry job! Of course, I may starve too... I sincerely thank all those who have chosen my pochade boxes and made it possible for me to even consider designing and building them full time. You're the best!
